For those who do not know, St. Paul records it’s 11:00 a.m. worship services.
We hope to start recording the 8:00 a.m. service in September.
If you do not want to be recorded during the service
It is advised that you sit near the rear of the church or
In the balcony when it re-opens to avoid being recorded
During normal recording.

Our annual School Supplies Drive is a tremendous success. 

Thanks to your support St. Paul we helped 3 students with backpacks

full of supplies, we purchased 50 supply kits that will be delivered to a

Middle school and elementary school Back Pack Buddy Programs,

and 129 pairs of underwear for high school students and the

Missionary Society is adding 15 bookbags for the Moore Square students.

Our Elementary Book drive is now over 350 books that will be distributed

at two locations:  on Saturday September 1stwe will be a the Foodlion

on New Bern Avenue and on Wednesday, September 3rd  
At Brentwood Apartments on Brentwood Road.  We need volunteers to help

students make their selections and transport supplies to and from each location. 

This project is a collaboration of the Education Commission and the Missionary Society. 

Please call the church office if you want to volunteer.
We are still collecting books for future give-a-ways to help elementary students develop the joy of reading.
ATTENTION LEGENDS… those St. Paul members 70 years of age and older. Today is the deadline to turn in your profile for our upcoming celebration. 
If you just turned 70 or turned 70 since 2013 or are over 70 and were not inducted into this special group in 2009 or 2013, please fill out one of the forms and turn it in today.  All current legends will receive their special tickets to the event in September. 
Registration for our next S.A.T. Prep Workshop on Saturday, August 25th will close on Wednesday.  Pre-Registration is required.  For students in grades 7-12.  Call the church office for details and to register.
You can now order CD’s or DVD’s of todays worship services in the elevator lobby and they will be delivered next Sunday.  Please see Mrs. Mazie Lester in the lobby.
Pull out your dancing shoes and mark your calendars for the first Friday of each month starting in September from 6-7pm we are going to have Line Dancing Parties for all ages…bring the whole family. $5.00 donation includes light snacks and the proceeds will go to our Parking Lot fund.  These parties are be coordinated by the Music Department and the Education Commission.
Now that school is back in session, we are going to provide a little help for parents by providing frozen entrees and sides on Sunday, September 16th.  They will include Mac & Cheese, Smothered Chicken, smashed potatoes, green bean casseroles and collard greens.  You can pre-order starting today.  Forms are located in the elevator lobby.
Finally, Did you know?  1 in 5 (44 million) adults in America experience mental illness in a given year?  Did you know?  Nearly 1 in 25 (10 million) adults live with a serious mental illness? We all have stressors and there may even be times we seem to disconnect from others but when does it last too long?  When should you become concerned?  Join us on Saturday, September 15th at 10am as we will discuss with professionals how to manage the stressors of life and mental wellness.  Sponsored by the Health Ministry

Calling all dancers or those who would like to dance for fun and exercise!  Join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. and help us Praise the Lord through dance.  Young, Old, Male or Female or youth, we want everyone interested to join us.
